We believe that the Great Commission and Great Commandment are equal. To preach the gospel of Jesus is to not only to speak about His Cross but also advocate for the hurting by acts of love, justice, peacemaking, and reconcilation in our world.
We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We embrace and share the Bible ideals of:
*Bible freedom: every Christian has the right to interpret the bible freely.
*Soul freedom: every Christian approaches God without imposition of creed, clergy or civil
*Religious freedom: the freedom OF religion, freedom FOR religion, and freedom FROM religion, insisting that “Caesar is not Christ, and Christ is not Caesar.”
In essentials, we have unity and in nonessentials we have liberty and in all our beliefs we have charity.
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
