What to WEAR?

One thing that many who come to Faith appreciate is the diversity within our congregation. People usually don't feel too formal or too casual.  Some people at Faith prefer to wear suits and ties, others jeans and T-shirts. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.

What to EXPECT ?

We believe that this is the most important hour of the week. When you come to any of our weekend worship services you will be joined many other people in our congregation from all walks of life.  Whether you are a long time follower of Jesus looking for a church family or you are just asking questions and wondering what place God should have in your life; we know that you can find a home and a family here at Faith.

At Faith we hope that you will discover a few very important things: how exciting church can be; that church is not only a place of worship and learning but also a place to call home; and most importantly we want you to discover faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

What kind of MUSIC?

Faith has a contemporary praise band that leads the congregation each Sunday in praise and worship. Our worship team works hard to provide a broad spectrum of music styles from new songs to ancient hymns. The most important issue when it comes to music is not the style or song but the one we are singing to. This focus is what we try to reflect each service.

What about CHILDREN?

Children are a priority to us at Faith. We try to make our children's ministries relevant and age appropriate. We have something for every age group.   Of course we encourage parents to allow their children to worship with them as a family.  However, during each 11:00AM weekend service we offer a special church service for kids (5-9 years old).   Children begin the morning with their parents in the main worship service and are dismissed after the worship portion of our service.  We also provide Nursery from birth to age three for all our services.   See our Children Programs.

What does it mean to be a CHRISTIAN?

In one sentence it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.  Being a Christian means that you have encountered the true and living God and that you have undergone a change in your heart and soul. To be a Christian means to follow Christ, to desire Him, to fellowship with Him, and to bring glory to Him in your life.

How to Become a Christian?

Acknowledge

You are a sinner and totally separated from God.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
- Romans 3:23

Understand

The penalty for your sin is death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
- Romans 6:23

Repent

Turn away from your own ways.
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out"
- Acts 3:19

Believe

Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..."
- Acts 16:31

Receive

Call on the Lord to save you.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
- Romans 10:13

Don't wait

You may not have another opportunity.
"...behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation."
- II Corinthians 6:2

Right now you can ask God to save you through Jesus Christ. He is not as concerned with your words as He is with the sincerity of your heart.

You can pray something like this:

"Dear God, I acknowledge that I'm a sinner but I believe that Jesus paid the penalty for my sins. I would like to turn away from my sin and accept your free gift of forgiveness. I ask you now to be my Lord, and to give to me eternal life. Amen."

If you are a new believer in Christ, let us encourage you to:

Be assured

Eternal life starts now.
"Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life"
- John 5:24

Be renewed

The Lord has set you free from the past.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
- II Corinthians 5:17

Be mature

God wants all of us to grow in our walk with Him.
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ..."
- II Peter 3:18

Be productive

The Lord has given you unique gifts and abilities for use in His body, the Church.
"For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ."
- I Corinthians 12:12
